Aruba, rinnovi più cari per alcune estensioni SuperSite dal 13 ottobre: come controllare

Anyone managing SuperSite domains on Aruba has a solid reason to open the control panel this week: for several extension groups, the official price list showed a renewal discount valid "until 13/10/2026". That date passed on 13 October: since then, renewals for those extensions have returned to the full group price.

What the price list says

Until 13/10/2026, renewal costs for .space, .photography, .technology, .photos, .tips, .ninja, .equipment, .schule extensions were €59 + VAT/year, against the group price of €66.50 + VAT/year. The same pattern repeats across four other groups in the SuperSite price list:

Group Extensions Renewal until 13/10/2026 Group renewal (from 14/10/2026)
1 .space, .photography, .technology, .photos, .tips, .ninja, .equipment, .schule €59.00 + VAT/year €66.50 + VAT/year
2 .auction, .cards, .cash, .cheap, .computer, .productions, .construction, .estate, .exchange, .family, .farm, .forsale, .gifts, .immo, .media, .properties, .pub, .repair, .sale, .services, .style, .town, .works, .zone €66.50 + VAT/year €70.00 + VAT/year
3 .care, .community, .domains, .events, .fish, .house, .industries, .moda, .parts, .rentals, .show, .watch (.study: €66.50) €70.00 + VAT/year €78.00 + VAT/year
5 .clinic, .dog, .engineering, .expert, .finance, .golf, .holdings, .kitchen, .maison, .restaurant, .reviews, .ski, .taxi, .university, .vin €87.00 + VAT/year €94.00 + VAT/year
6 .black, .capital, .careers, .claims, .dating, .fund, .jewelry, .partners, .plumbing, .shoes, .solar, .tax, .tennis, .theater, .toys €94.00 + VAT/year €107.00 + VAT/year

The figures are taken from Aruba's SuperSite Easy price list. The increase ranges from €6.50 to €13.00 + VAT per year depending on the group: modest for a single domain, but multiplied across dozens of agency clients it becomes a significant line item to recalculate in quotes.

Note: this deadline of 13/10/2026 appears in the SuperSite price list, which is the package that includes domain, DNS management, 5 POP3 email accounts, and DV SSL certificate. In the pure Domains price list, for those registering just the name without hosting, these same extensions don't carry this note: there the warnings remain for .country and .sexy, available for renewal only.

How to check your domain

The renewal price for a single domain should not be calculated manually from the price list: check it in the Control Panel. As explained in the official Aruba guide, renewal extends domain validity for one or more years, keeping the expiry date and month already set in the contract unchanged, and domains are considered expiring within the last three months of contract validity. Logging in with credentials like 123456@aruba.it and searching for the domain in the Renewal section, the system shows the actual amount that will be charged, already updated to the current price list.

What to do before automatic renewal

Anyone wanting to switch providers or stop renewing a domain must act before the charge is processed. If you pay by credit card or PayPal, automatic renewal is enabled by default, and you can disable it later from the Control Panel. Once disabled, the domain is no longer automatically renewed at expiry and there is time to initiate a transfer to another registrar or decide to let it lapse.

Practical information

  • Updated official price list: aruba.it/listino-supersite.aspx
  • Guide to renewal and disabling automatic renewal: guide.aruba.it (section "Rinnovo del dominio e dei servizi associati")
  • Verification to be done within your renewal window (three months before contract expiry), not after: once automatic charging starts, making changes still requires another intervention in the Control Panel.
